Trempealeau Parkland Project History
Investment by the Village of Trempealeau
The Village has committed $3,192,215 toward the $6 million Parkland project. The Village’s contribution represents 51.5% of the overall project cost.
The Village’s investment will fund:
â–ª A paved and lighted walking trail traversing the entire site.
â–ª Two natural surface ball fields and one multipurpose field.
â–ª Two pickleball courts and one basketball court.
â–ª Landscape elements including trees and native plants.
â–ª Site infrastructure including grading, excavation, sewer, water, and
electrical utilities.
â–ª A paved parking lot and retention pond
Phase 1 Campaign Fundraising Focus
The generous investment by the Village provides for the park’s foundational elements, allowing our Campaign to focus on other important features that will ensure the park is accessible and truly multi-use for all citizens.
-
Multipurpose Building: Includes bathrooms (accessible year-round), concession and catering area, second-floor conference/media room, and large covered picnic area.
-
All Abilities playground
-
Artificial Turf: Will ensure the safety of players and the flexibility to accommodate a variety of sports, while also extending usage into different seasons and the overall useful life of fields.
-
Ball field elements: equipment shed, scoreboards, batting cages, portable pitcher’s mounds, and portable outfield fencing

Village of Trempealeau stakeholders and our Campaign Committee are also looking to the future. The Parkland plan includes space for a new pool and aquatics center, along with additional picnic shelters, a bike skills course, and other elements. These exciting additions will be focal points of future fundraising.
